Today would be your 6th birthday...today I reflect with such sadness on what this day would have brought...I wish this morning I had kissed you awake to sing you Happy Birthday...I wish I could have seen the look of delight on your face when I came to your classroom with cupcakes for your kindergarten class...I wish I could see the outfit you would have picked out for your special day....I wish I could make you that extra special dinner to celebrate your day...and watch you blow out your candles...watched you open your presents with delight...but mostly I wish I could hold you one last time and tell you all the things I wish I had...I wish for one last kiss...and one more look at your beautiful face. I miss and love you with all my heart!
